Bubble Sort spreadsheet
example (Thanks to Ewan Spence) Use this technique to add
bubble sorting to your own sheets. See Ewan's detailed documentation in
EPOC and RTF format. |

Numerical analysis
(Thanks to Jeff Harmed) A comprehensive Numerical Analysis
suite, in Data format with embedded documentation and spreadsheet modules.
Though it was written for chemical engineers, it has general appeal to
mathematicians, scientist and engineers. It also illustrates the object
embedding power of EPOC and my attempts to convert this module to PC formats
has proven how compact and stable the EPOC platform really is. A PC equivalent
of this module would be too large to share over the Internet! |

X-Y scatter graphs
(Thanks to Oliver Kozak) The main problem when displaying data
as a x-y scatter graph in SHEET is that you enter the data, select the 2
columns to be displayed, switch to graph and select x-y scatter - and from this
moment on you can not change x values. Try it for yourself: go to Change Range
/ Ranges / Scatter range (x values), and if you enter a new region of the sheet
file for x, Psion replaces it with original cell locations when leaving the
field. Much of the time you may want to display 3 or 4 data sets in
addition, and in this way you have to clear the whole graph and redo all graph
formatting from scratch. With this predefined sheet file for x-y scatter
display, this problem never occurs and you are always able to see your data.

Regression analysis
(Thanks to David Hollis) Regression analysis of up to 16 (x,y)
data points. The best fit can be checked against seven possible equation
formats: Linear/Parabolic/Cubic/Inverse/Exponential/Logarithmic/Power The
sheet provides the best fit coeficients for each of the equation types and the
coeficient of determination which indicates how good a fit has been achieved.
Once the data and equation type has been entered pressing Ctrl-Q will bring up
a graph of the original points marked as crosses and the line of the equation
as determined. The sheet has step by step instructions and a brief description
of the working method is included. |

Whole Circle Bearings from
Known Coordinates (Thanks to Niall O'Donovan) A spreadsheet
for calculating Whole Circle Bearings from Known Coordinates or visa versa from
a known setting out station. It is of use to Civil Engineers and Surveyors who
need to set out structures, sites etc. |
