Reference - Dates
Age calculator (Thanks to Dave Hallett.)
Something which teachers often have to do is work out the age of a child in years and completed months. That sounds simple - but when you have to do 30 at a time it starts to really hurt the brain. This spreadsheet takes an input of the date of birth and gives the current (that day's) age in years and completed months. Valid though for all ages, not just children!

Day of the Week calculator (Thanks to Niall O'Donovan)
Based on the Reverend Zeller Congruence, in a book called 'Elementary Number Theory', by J.V. Uspensky & M.A. Heaslet. It is a handy file for finding out the Day of the Week for any Date. (Allowing for Leap Years etc.) It is especially useful for anyone who dates further back 1980 (this is as far back as the Psion/Symbian Agenda goes)
