The free support we offer is in a number of
specific areas:
- Counselling
and listening – Do you have worries and feel you have noone to
turn to? We can provide a listening ear for your personal problems.
- Debt
counselling – Do you need help in summarising your financial
situation and putting in place a plan to settle you debt? Call us for help in
clarifying your financial affairs.
- ‘One Day
for a Lifetime’ – Are you about to get married? Spend a
Saturday at one of our fun and interactive locally run marriage preparation
courses.
- ‘Couple Alive’ – Are you
married or in a long term relationship? Do you feel the need to take time out
with your partner to refresh your relationship? ‘Couple Alive’ is a
chance for you to do this over a series of evenings.
We have contacts with many other local support
organisations, so if your need does not fall within our support areas, we may
be able to put you in touch with another group locally which can help.
About the Trust
The Woodley Pilot Light Trust is a registered
charity, which was founded in 1997, by local churches of various denominations
in Woodley with the aim of providing support to the local community in Woodley,
Wokingham, Reading and the surrounding area.
All those involved
with the charity are Christians, but the service is intended for all.
